預訂2022年上映的《水行俠 2》（Aquaman 2）距離開拍仍然有一段時間，如無意外會回歸執導的導演溫子仁目前正忙碌於新片《Malignant》的拍攝，完成之後他還有三部電影的編劇和監製工作需要處理。
雖然導演很忙碌，但《水行俠 2》最近也有新消息曝光。和溫子仁合作過多部電影，在《水行俠》（Aquaman）中飾演Orm Marius (Ocean Master)的Patrick Wilson最近接受了The Hollywood Reporter的訪問，當中他談及了未來的一些電影計畫，當中包括了《水行俠 2》。
在《水行俠》的最後一戰中，Orm Marius被兄長Arthur Curry打敗並被收押。Patrick Wilson指出，Orm Marius的故事仍未結束。他和溫子仁就這個角色有過討論，在溫子仁的概念裡，他會把這個角色挖掘得更深入。Patrick Wilson表示他大致清楚Orm Marius 會在續集中扮演怎麼樣的角色，現階段不會說出來。

I’ll say, ‘So, what about this?’ and [James Wan will] say, ‘Well, this is what I’m thinking.’ I can tell you that even his concepts for Aquaman 2 are pushing it even further.”可以確定在《水行俠 2》中Ocean Master將會繼續出現。從首集的結尾來看，Ocean Master會在續集以正派還是反派的角色現身仍然是未知之數。
