Hi! It's me Takuro.
How are you guys doing?
We're busy rehearsing for our upcoming tour.
I'm trying to get my guitar parts down.
Why am I always the slowest one in the band?
I had a lot of stuff going on this week, most of it pretty fun.
I met up with my old buddy, SUGIZO. He was on tour with X JAPAN last month in South America, and I got to hear all his great stories.Did any of you catch the shows?
We were talking and remembering old times.
I remember the first time I met him backstage at some live house back in 1994.
He was wearing this huge Dracula cape, which was both cool and silly at same time.
At least that's the way I remember it.
SUGIZO continues to deny it to this day!
My Taiwanese friends from the band "Mayday" are in town at the moment, and I've had a great time hanging out with them. The guitarist, Monster, and I went to the B'z concert on Tuesday.
I don't need to tell you how good the show was, but the drummer, Shane, is remarkable for two things: his great drumming and his cool style! Check it out!
Last night we met up with Monster and the other Mayday members for drinks, food, and good times.
The evening ended with me promising Monster that when (if?) he gets married, GLAY will definitely perform at the wedding party!
This week has really raised my spirits, and I can't wait for the tour.
