在《Batman v Superman》之後便是《Justice League》，電影稍稍地於上星期在英國倫敦開拍。電影的卡士傳出叫人又驚又喜的消息，喜的是Willem Dafoe出現於英雄電影中，驚的是他演的是DC的《Justice League》。
媒體The Hollywood Reporter首次報道這個消息。而片商Warner Bros就未肯開腔證實消息的真偽。據THR指，雖然未知他演的是哪一個角色，但那是個好人。有網民改圖，把Willem改成是Green Lantern（綠燈俠）。不過現時真的未清楚他演的是哪一位，可能是英雄，或者可能是新創造的角色，盲就如《Batman V Superman》中Holly Hunter演的一角。
大家熟悉的《Spider-Man》三步曲系列由導演Sam Raimi執導，而Dafoe演的是綠魔（Green Goblin），漫威其中一個反派。他最近演的角色包括與Keanu Reeves(奇洛李維斯)合作的《John Wick》(2014年上映）與最近完成拍攝的《The Great Wall》，與「火星人」Matt Damon合作。
《Justice League》的劇本由Chris Terrio撰寫。片商把電影分為上、下兩集。《Justice League Part 1》的映期定在2017年11月17日，下一部是2019年6月14日。電影的出品人是Charles Roven、 Zack Snyder與 Deborah Snyder。
《Justice League Part One》的演員包括︰Ben Affleck、Henry Cavill、Gal Gadot、Amy Adams、J. K. Simmons、Jason Momoa、Ezra Miller以及新加入的Willem Dafoe。
